In 2017 my boyfriend and I spent six weeks exploring Costa Rica. We started of at a newfound friends place in Alajuela, close to the main airport of Costa Rica. After a few days of trying to get a grip about the country we boarded a bus to the Caribbean coast and Cahuita and Puerto Viejo. After spending a few days exploring the white beaches and natural reserves, before we headed back to the Central Valley. Our next stop was a two stay at a farm. After two weeks of learning about farming and enjoying the silence we turned our faces to the Pacific Coast and the Bad Lands, Mal País. We spent around one week along the coast of Santa Teresa, exploring the surrounding villages and just relaxing at the beach. We headed back to Alajuela to catch up with our friends and to repack our bags before boarding a bus in the other direction- to La Fortuna. Back again in Alajuela we set out for our last tour in Costa Rica, to Cerro Dantas, a small wildliferefuge in the hills of Heredia.
