The non-crowded beach of Boracay

After a week on Luzon, the main island of the Philippines we headed of to Boracay, an Island located in the Wester Visayas region. We had a good last week there not doing to much beside swimming, running, eating, drinking and just enjoying the company. We also did some islandhopping on our last day. However, Boracay would the Philippines awnser to Mallorca in Europe. A strange hedonistic place with overcrowded beach walks and beaches. not our cup of tea. But with that said we still had a pleasant time there. One day Josch and me decided that it was time to escape the crowded White Beach and head north on the Island.

We took a tricycle to Ilig- lligan, a beach that we shared with just a handfull other people and spend the whole day there. So, below some last snap-shots from the Philippines.
